Kurt Riemenschneider – President; Co-founder of Laffer Healthcare Intelligence; Partner of Laffer Associates
Kurt Riemenschneider currently serves with Laffer Associates where he co-founded Laffer Healthcare Intelligence, the offspring of Obsidian Research Group, a healthcare policy and regulations research organization he helped found in Nashville in 2012. Trained in science, he has had a 25 year career on Wall Street serving most recently as Managing Director at Avondale Partners. Prior, he served with BB&T Capital Markets, SunTrust Equitable Securities and McDonald & Co. Securities in Cleveland. Kurt is a graduate of Miami University in Oxford, Ohio.
Dennis Grimaud – Secretary, and Treasurer; Founder and CEO of RED Healthcare Consulting
Dennis Grimaud brings over 40 years of experience in the health care industry and 30 years of experience in biotechnology as an entrepreneur, senior executive and consultant and is currently Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Reliability, Execution, Development (RED), a healthcare and biotechnology consulting firm providing science, business and management services. Most recently, he was Chairman, Chief Executive Officer and Founder of DIATHERIX Laboratories which he sold to Eurofins. A serially successful healthcare entrepreneur, Dennis was formerly Chief Executive Officer of Genaco Biomedical Products, Chairman and CEO of Premier Micronutrient Corporation, Founder, Chairman and CEO of ScyTech, Co-Founder, Chairman, President and CEO of Cytometry Associates. A founding member and Director of the Nashville Healthcare Council, Co-founder, Chairman and President of the Tennessee Biotechnology Association. A combat veteran, Dennis served as a U.S. Navy Corpsman with the 3rd Marines in VietNam in 1968-69.
Andrew Sloane – Chief Financial Officer
Andrew Sloane (CFO) is the Chief Financial Officer for Reliability, Execution & Development. Prior to founding RED he served as a financial consultant for a privately held third party benefits provider. Previously, Andrew served as Manager of Business Development at IntegraMed Fertility, a private equity backed healthcare services company and he served as Chief Financial Officer of Payment America Systems, a private equity backed revenue cycle management company. Prior to gaining operating experience, he was an associate analyst at Avondale Partners covering publicly traded healthcare information technology companies on the NYSE and NASDAQ exchanges. Mr. Sloane graduated from the University of South Carolina with Bachelor of Science degrees in Finance and Economics.

Arthur Laffer – Board Member; CEO of Laffer Tengler Investments
Arthur Laffer Jr. is currently the Chief Operating Officer and Lead Portfolio Manager of Laffer Tengler Investments. Most recently, Arthur was President and Lead Portfolio Manager of Laffer Investments, which he founded with his father, world famous economist, Dr. Arthur B. Laffer. Prior to starting Laffer Investments, Arthur served with Nicholas-Applegate Capital Management, Putnam Investments and Bradford and Marzec in various professional and managerial positions. He currently sits on the board of directors of Preverity, a privately held company providing medical malpractice risk analysis to insurers.

Dr. Alan Marnett – Board Member; CEO of Benchfly
Dr. Alan Marnett is the Founder and CEO of Benchfly. A third-generation chemist, he has over 25 years of combined experience as a research scientist, business owner, and education entrepreneur Alan received his B.A. in Chemistry from Trinity University in San Antonio, Texas and his Ph.D. in Chemistry and Chemical Biology from the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF). He performed his postdoctoral research in the Picower Institute at MIT
Mark Baum – Board Member; CEO of Harrow Health
Mark Baum is currently the CEO of publicly-traded Harrow Health which recently relocated from San Diego, California to Nashville, TN. A serially successful biopharmaceutical entrepreneur, Mark began his career in 1999 by founding YesRX the same year he graduated from law school and has been successfully launching companies ever since. Mark has been involved with Surface, Melt, Mayfield, Radley, Stowe and Eton Pharmaceuticals and was named the San Diego Area Entrepreneur of the Year by E&Y in 2017. He earned a bachelor’s degree from University of Texas at Arlington and a law degree from California Western School of Law.
Dr. Larry Van Horn – Board Member (pending); CEO of Preverity
Dr. Larry Van Horn is a renowned expert and researcher on healthcare management and economics at Vanderbilt University where he is an associate professor of economics as well as the Executive Director of Health Affairs at Vanderbilt Owen School of Business. Among decades of contribution to the healthcare community, Dr. Van Horn was instrumental in assisting the White House craft landmark healthcare pricing transparency Executive Order of June 24, 2019 and was signed into law on November 15, 2019.
Dr. Chase Spurlock – Board Member (pending); CEO of DeCode Health
Dr. Chase Spurlock is the Founder and CEO of Decode Health a Nashville-based healthcare analytics company that builds artificial intelligence for health plans, care management providers, and technology companies to predict and understand disease risk. Dr. Spurlock’s work in genomics and data science has been featured in peer-reviewed journals and widely published in trade journals and healthcare media outlets. He is a Phi Beta Kappa graduate of The University of the South and received his PhD from Vanderbilt, where he also serves on the medical school faculty. Outside of work, Dr. Spurlock is actively involved with a variety of non-profits focused on secondary education, community health, values-based leadership. He currently serves on the Board of Trustees for The Webb School in Bell Buckle, Tennessee and the leadership board of Siloam Health. He is also an active supporter of The Aspen Institute, and is a member of the Order of St John.
Eric Mayer – Board Member (pending); CEO of EDP Biotech Corp.
Eric Mayer is currently CEO of EDP Biotech in Knoxville, TN. Mr. Mayer was appointed CEO in 2015, and previously served as the Company’s VP of Business Development from 2013-2015. Prior to EDP Biotech, Eric Mayer had directed business development at Bio Pet Vet Lab and developed veterinary diagnostic products at AAD, Inc. His experience in biomedical/pharmaceutical start-ups include Metabolon, Inc. and Cirrus Pharmaceuticals. He received his Bachelor’s in Biochemistry from UNC-Chapel Hill, and his Masters of Microbial Biotechnology (MMB) and Masters of Business Administration (MBA) from North Carolina State University.
